Celebrate Australia Day the Mandurah way starting with a Big Aussie Breakfast on the Eastern Foreshore! There's fun activities for the kids, markets and a special citizenship ceremony. Bring your own boat, dress it up in all things Australian and join the boat parade around the canals! The flotilla goes right past our villa. Join in and wave from our jetty or simply relax in the comfort of our sitting area and take in the show as it floats past Port Sails Canal Villa.
Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest
Crab Fest
The Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest is one of WA’s major tourist events. Held every year in March, this weekend event showcases The Peel Region’s fresh produce from seafood to wine, lots of family entertainment, live music and fireworks! No need to worry about parking, it all takes place just an easy 10 minute stroll from our Port Sails Canal Villa.
ANZAC parade to Halls Head War Memorial
ANZAC Day
Two ANZAC Day services are held at the Mandurah War Memorial. The day starts with a Dawn Service followed by a Gunfire Breakfast. Afterwards a parade of Australian Service Men and Women march across the Mandurah bridge to the main service at Mandurah's Halls Head War Memorial - an extremely humbling sight just 5 minutes walk from Port Sails Canal Villa.
